What is the Cookie Jar?
The Cookie Jar is a compilation of sample handmade products geared towards moms and families. Whether you're the mom of a newborn, 3-year-old or have grandkids, there are goodies here for everyone. There will only be 10 "jars" offered per month, so be sure to snag one because once they're gone, they're gone until next month when a whole new batch of samples will be offered.What kinds of items are included?
Generally, there is a little bit of everything, from soap, to hair bows, to burp cloths and jewelry; offerings will change monthly. Every item will be featured in a blog post the day before the jars go on sale, so you'll know what you'll receive if you decide to purchase. There is also an Etsy Favorites widget displaying the months participating shops as well.
Will I receive one of everything?
Not necessarily. The number of samples is left to the discretion of the shop owner, however, most people send 10 items (one for every jar). The box samples will vary but everyone will receive the same number of items. Your answers to the order form questions will help determine which limited items are included in your box.

Where do the proceeds go?
Almost all of the proceeds (75%) are donated to an annual charity voted on by the readers; be sure to cast your vote. The remaining amount is used to fund giveaways on The Mama Dramalogues.
How accurate is the Jar Countdown number?
Pretty accurate. Once a payment is received, the number is changed to reflect the number of available jars left.
Cool! I want to buy one, but how?
Just click on the Order Form link at the top of the screen; a new page will open with the form for you to fill out. After the form is received, an invoice will be sent to you via Paypal, using the email address you provided. Once payment is received, your order will be shipped within 3 business days via USPS Priority Mail.
